Leeds’ Worst Crime Hotspots Revealed

A Freedom of Information request from the Yorkshire Evening Post has revealed the top ten crime hotspots in Leeds, which could prove useful if you are currently looking for a new house or flat in the city and its surrounding areas.

The top ten was made up of the Asda at the Owlcotes Centre in Pudsey, the Morrisons supermarket at The Penny Hill Centre in Hunslet, the TK Maxx at The Headrow in the city, St James’ Hospital on Beckett Street in Burmantofts, the Asda Superstore in Killingbeck, Leeds General Infirmary on Great George Street, the area at Heaton Court in Briggate, Swinnow Lane and Swinnow Road junction, Call Lane in the city centre and Space nightclub on Duncan Street.

Some of the best places to live in Leeds include Headingley & Horsforth, which is perfect for young professionals looking to get out of the city centre, Chapel Allerton which is very popular and home to lots of bars, restaurants and shops, and Roundhay, which has a beautiful park and some incredible converted properties.
